Abstract
This study examines green energy transition confronting the application of certain factors to the study of policy making. In this study, the factors that can be effective in the spread of renewable energy sources, which are an important part of the green energy policy, were examined. With climate change, decisions with environmental implications are becoming an increasingly important part of the daily routine for individuals, corporations, and governments. This paper analyzes factors and process in Türkiye that promote a clean energy transition. Clean energy transition factors affect and are affected a wide range of energy behaviors as well as the acceptability of different energy policies and energy system changes. End of the study I discuss findings from psychological studies of policy making and propose a research agenda.
