The conference will be held at Kazan Federal University, at the building at Str. Kremlyovskaya 6/20.

The primary hotel for participants is Marriott Courtyard Kazan Kremlin.

Directions from the airport

The easiest way to reach the hotel is by taxi. The cost will be around 600 RUR (12-15 EUR) during the daytime. Every taxi has a taximeter so the cost of the fare will be calculated automatically during the ride and might depend also on the time/traffic. Taxi drivers normally accept only cash so it’s important for you to have already some Roubles before the ride (if you have an international credit/debit card you can withdraw Euros at the ATM directly in the airport).

Please note that taxi drivers probably only speak Russian so it might be easier for you to write down your destination, if you are not sure about the pronunciation.

You can also take Aeroexpress train (http://www.aeroexpress.ru/en/regions/kazan.html) to get from the airport to the railway station (train departures every 2 hours). One way ticket costs 200 RUR

You can also take the taxi (around 200 RUR), use public transport (bus No 10, 30 or 63) or take a walk (20-25 minutes). Bus ticket costs 20 RUR and is sold only for cash.
