Abstract
The access to financial services is crucial for economic development and poverty reduction in Kyrgyzstan. There are a number of factors limiting financial inclusion such as financial, social and economic development. Capital shortage and low access to financial services cause difficulties for economic agents’ saving and borrowing. In this paper the access to the range of financial services is analyzed based on the Global Findex survey data that is conducted in 2021 for 1000 individuals in Kyrgyzstan. Financial behavior of individuals will be analyzed using logit model to reveal the effect of such factors as gender, education level and age. Along with this, the use of digital payment in Kyrgyzstan will be analyzed.
