Abstract
One of the main macroeconomic goals of countries is to increase national income. As long as the total national income increases the welfare level of the individuals in the country, it will be possible to reach the desired macro level. Welfare of individuals means much more than income per-capita and most of the time it must be evaluated with concrete measurable criteria. In this sense, each of elements such as health, education, personal freedoms, living conditions, effective governance, social and human capital, security, market accessing to reach more objective results as indicators of prosperity and the welfare state. In this study, the welfare performance of South Caucasus countries in the period 2007-2020 will be evaluated with in the scope of the "Legatum Prosperity Index" under the guidance of basic macroeconomic data.
